Truth be told, the last time I saw Maroon 5 back in 2008, I was slightly disappointed. And I really liked them back then too! But after seeing them live, I wasn't so sure anymore...

Fast forward 3 years.

This time around, the band was tight, they connected with the audience, and looked like they actually like each other and put on an awesome awesome show! For their own good, I hope they keep this up!

Laugh all you want, but going to a gig with 10,000 screaming teenage girls IS indeed a scary experience...especially when you were nearly crushed TWICE by stampeding girls.

I'll be honest, I don't remember the 1st time I heard/saw/read about the Aurora Borealis, or the Northern Lights, but I know I have been fascinated by it for a long time now. It was one of the top items on my bucket list thats fo sho! So when the chance came for me to go hunt the lights with 2 of my awesome friends, I could not say no!

Long story short, we travelled, we hunted, we almost gave up hope, we hunted somemore, and after 6 nights, God did not disappoint! We risked our fingers and ears falling off, but we saw what we came to see..and it was pretty darn amazing! A beautiful display of dancing lights, and for almost 2 hours too!

To everyone who has ever dreamt of witnessing one of nature's wonders, GO. DO IT. I can guarantee you will not regret it.

I've had the book lying around the house for a while now, but never really bothered to pick it up. But since the movie is coming to the big screens, I thought best I read it 1st (I'm anal like that, I always try to read the book before the movie).

All I can say is Elizabeth Gilbert is rather annoying. I'm sorry, I know the book is a best-seller and all, but bitch pleeeeease! Damn emo can?? It's exhausting to read about her life! And no, I can't put it down and give up now cos I don't like not finishing the books I've started on!

We're still in Italy now. Only India and Indonesia to go. Wish me luck!

Back Breaking Baking No More!

As much as I love to bake, it hurts my back everytime I do...
Because we 'adopted' this oven, we didn't really have a proper place to put it..so we used one of our dining chairs to chuck it on temporarily! hahah yes I know...it's kinda sad, and funny...this is what it looked like!

It just sat so well that I didn't bother doing anything about it. But the pain that followed every baking session just wasn't gonna work.

So...we went to Ikea. (heee!)

And now my oven sits prettily on here and I don't have to break my back anymore! And yes, I've baked my '1st batch' Chewy Choc Chip Cookies!
